Do Not Drink … Gamble!

If you like to have a drink every now and then, keep your money at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your purse, your wallet, and keep all cash, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack only the money you anticipate to spend on refreshments, tips and few dollars you expect to throw away and leave the remainder behind.

Cynical? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You might experience a win after a boozy night out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to hook a long roll at a hot craps table. Keep that story because it is as brief as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and gamble. These activities just do not mix.

Leaving your money out of the casino is a tiny bit drastic, but defensive actions for drastic behavior is essential. If you gamble to succeed, then do not drink and bet. If you like to toss aside your assets nary a concern, then consume all the free booze your stomach are able to handle, but do not pack plastic credit and chequebooks to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your hooched up brain loses every little thing!

Let me to carry this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then hop on the internet to wager in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my house, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and wager.

How come? Even though I don’t drink to excess, when I drink alcohol, it’s clearly adequate to befuddle my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager when you do. The two mix up for a ferocious, and costly, drink.
