I have been betting on the internet or at brick and mortar gambling dens for a great many years. I have been taught, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it till you are bankrupt. Especially if you are on a profit streak. I have gone through uncounted tens of thousands of dollars in only a little period of time and still on occasion, I still go too long. It feels like you are only enjoying yourself till you choose to contemplate your losses and the anguish sets in, and of course you keep advising yourself "I will be able to earn it back" repeatedly. It never ever works. Then you feel icky in your gut and the harder you try the faster you spend.
When you see that you are up, STAY in the Black! When you begin to throw away, do not tell yourself, "well just one more" a number of times, believe me, this technique almost never ever works. Say you plan on wagering on slot machines, keep a figure separate prior to beginning your action. DO NOT go over that limit, regardless of how appealing. If you happen to earn, put that in a separate canister. Do not risk your payouts regardless of what happens. After you have wagered through your initial set threshold, stop. Back off, regardless if it is on the net or at a brick and mortar gambling hall, do not stay at the tables or machines. Always remember, there will be another day, another time. Clearly, this technique usually will function for any casino game that you bet on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, blackjack or any other casino game.
Remember, gambling should be enjoyable not backbreaking, appalling work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If you can’t pay for the losses, don’t even begin.
