There is a fascinating background to the Cambodia casinos that lie just across the border from next door Thailand, where casino gambling is against the law. Eight gambling dens are anchored in a generally tiny space in the metropolis of Poipet in Cambodia. One more of the eight gambling halls in Poipet, again a part of a hotel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six slot machines and ninety seven casino games. The Star Vegas Casino is part of an all-around resort and hotel compound that highlights numerous luxuries on top of the casino, which contains ten thousand square feet of one hundred and thirty one armed bandits and eighty eight tables.
